Online Project “Accessible Traditions” Launched at the Republican Center of National Cultures

On February 20, the online project “Accessible Traditions” was launched at the Republican Center of National Cultures.

The first master class on straw weaving for Belarusians in Estonia was conducted by Alla Ovsyannikova, a folk master of Belarus, and Inga Kuchinskaya.

Participants from the Belarusian Cultural Society “Pelyostak” in Tallinn learned the secrets of the craft.

The project’s program is quite extensive: upcoming topics include the study of vytynanka (paper-cut art), holidays of the folk calendar, and pysanka (egg decorating).
