The National Tour of the Open Children’s Drawing Contest “Under the Wing of the Black Stork – 2026” has launched in Belarus. The contest is held as part of the International Children’s Drawing Contest “National Treasure”.

The organizers of the contest are the state cultural institution of mixed type “Republican Centre of National Cultures”, together with the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong‑based organisation “Shine Tak Foundation”.

The contest aims to:

• strengthen international cultural ties;

• develop children’s artistic creativity;

• promote the unity, preservation and development of different national cultures.

The main theme of the contest is the depiction of an animal (real or imaginary) that could be presented as a national symbol of Belarus.
